South of Derbyshire shortlisted for LGC Awards 2016

We’re delighted to announce that the South of Derbyshire Joined Up Care were shortlisted for the LGC Awards. The awards evening ceremony took place on 16th March 2016 in Grosvenor House, London.South of Derbyshire Joined Up Care (including Derby City Council, Derbyshire County Council, NHS Erewash CCG, NHS Southern Derbyshire CCG, Derby Teaching Hospitals FT, Derbyshire Healthcare FT, Derbyshire Community Health Services FT, Derbyshire Healthcare United and EMAS) have been nominated for the LGC 2016 awards in the “Driving Efficiency through Technology” category.“To be shortlisted for an LGC Award shows that a council’s work in this particular area is something that can inspire the rest of local government. The quality of the entries goes to show that councils are striving to innovate to improve services at a time they must cut costs”, commented Nick Golding, Local Government Chronicle editor.

Using Pi’s solution, South of Derbyshire Joined Up Care were able to collect data from their various systems and identify patterns in patients’ routes, achieving significant reductions in reliance on emergency services and improving the quality of individual care.
